Our Mission
MESH® RESEARCH, is focusing on scientific issues that pursue questions and tasks for the design of digitalized working environments of tomorrow or those that are to be digitalized, independent of disciplinary specifications. One focus is on the transformation processes triggered by digitalization. Our focus is on competence research, which already produced and will continue to produce practical tools for analyzing and developing individual and organizational competencies.
Since 2019, we have already been interested in the thematic complex of “innovation (digitalization)” and the resulting “transformation processes”.
We saw already in an early stage that in a digitalized economy and society both sophisticated organizational and advanced individual competencies are needed and therefore accompany the organizational and the individual competency developments with suitable tools.
These tools include individual learning and development environments of the current working world. We accompany the development of these tools with companies and organizations that are undergoing the fundamental change that come along with the transformation processes
That’s why companies must do a better job than before of matching changing tasks and roles with the competencies of the corresponding top performers. People in companies and organizations must not only think flexibly, but also act flexibly in positions of responsibility.
This means that future-oriented learning must take place where it is best applied: in the workplace.
Our mission
Future-oriented learning in the work process – understanding the work process as part of a transformation and supporting people’s roles
“Adaptation through agility”, “creativity through collaboration”, “speed through self-organization” – these are the recommendations for how companies can successfully adapt to the process of digitalization of the economy and society. Following the idea of New Work, the focus is on people and not solely on the company or the organization.
The roles of people in the transformation process from leader to affected people are manifold. If the transformation processes into the digital future are to succeed, the various needs must be coordinated to receive full support.
