MESH® RESEARCH is an integral part of the MESH® INSTITUTE for Advanced Competence, along with the MESH®ACADEMY, MESH® CONSULTING and MESH® IN-HOUSE.
The MESH® INSTITUTE is committed to future-oriented learning in the process of working. We don’t think of learning as just preparing for work or taking time off from work. In addition, we want to help people develop their skills as much as possible in the very place where they spend a large part of their lives: at work. MESH® RESEARCH exists to research the necessary fundamentals and to develop their practical application in companies, public administration and associations.
On the one hand, we observe with MESH® RESEARCH in a transdisciplinary perspective which competencies will be important for companies, authorities and associations in a digitalized society and globalized economy in the future and how these competencies can be taught to specialists and executives in non-formal learning environments. The results of these ongoing observations of the scientific discourse in terms of content as well as didactics benefit the two areas within the MESH® INSTITUTE, MESH® ACADEMY and MESH® INHOUSE, which specialize in learning under the non-formal framework of internal or external continuing education and training.
On the other hand, with MESH® RESEARCH we also make an independent contribution to current scientific research on modeling, explanation, diagnosis, and development of personal and organizational competencies. We prepare the results of this research in such a way that they can be practically applied by MESH® CONSULTING for the diagnosis and development of competencies in the informal learning environments as they are concretely given at the workplaces in companies, authorities and associations in each case.
